What about the cost?

To be honest, it's hard to quantify without first talking with you to find out what features you want on your website. There certainly are some companies that nail down their prices - so much per page. That can be easy to state, and hard to honor. A cookie cutter website where your design is just like everyone else can be done that way, but if what your are seeking is an original expression of your ideas, then we need to talk first - then design. Three things I will say. Our pricing will be competitive to the market, our work will be of consistent high quality, and if what you need is technically beyond the scope of our development capabilities, we will let you know up front.

RAS Interactive will work and coordinate with you through the entire development process to create a successful web presence. Now, the details.

RAS Interactive Pricing Schedule

Web Design and Development:

With few exceptions we charge a flat rate of $60.00 per hour. Our estimates will detail each item and we will review each task with you before you sign the contract.

Price per page: We do not have a set price per page for a web site. Each page can take from ½ hour to several hours to create, depending on the complexity of the design, the type and amount of content, and navigation requirements.

Graphics and photographs: Scanning and optimization (for use on the internet) of your photographs/graphic art is available for $15 – 25 per photograph. If your photographs are already in digital format, the cost is included in your website estimate.

Digital Photography: Digital photography (including optimization) is available at a cost of $15 per photograph accepted plus time on-site to take the photographs.

Hosting

There are two hosting options for your web site available through RAS Interactive.

Hosting Option One

Business card website (typically one to three web pages which act as a virtual business card or resume for you and/or your business) or E-Brochure website (3-4 pages which provide a dynamic source for your clients about you, your business, and the products and services that you offer).

Hosting Option Two

This would be a full-fledged website for businesses or individuals that has its own URL (address) that your clients/customers/friends can use.

• Linux/Apache Hosting or Windows/IIS 5.0 Hosting

• Hosting of one domain

• 200 MB disk space for web

• 25 email accounts (15 MB storage each/unlimited aliases)

• Email list access, forwarding, and auto responders

• Web based email access

• No bandwidth metering

• 99%+ up time

• FTP access

• Shell/Telnet access (Linux/Apache hosting)

• FrontPage extensions (Windows/IIS 5.0 Hosting)

• CGI/FastCGI/PHP/Perl

• MySql database support (Linux/Apache hosting)

• MS Access database support (Windows/IIS 5.0 Hosting)

• One hour per month free updates
